Despite never once consummating their secret union of hearts, it had not taken long for Joonmyun to discover the mark Wu Fan bore on his back and how it affected how he perceived the world.
“When you touch me, the world blurs around its colorful edges,” said Wu Fan as they kissed, holding Joonmyun’s chin in his hand so he could look into his face. The blush across the top of his cheeks looked delectable. “The air sparks and it hurts, and I see…” Everything. You. All of you.
Joonmyun’s hand, smaller in mass but powerful enough to bring a man of Wu Fan’s breadth to his knees, brushed past the mark of the dragon as he readjusted himself in Wu Fan’s lap. Wu Fan’s skin jumped and shivered, and he pulled back from Joonmyun’s warm, wet mouth. Joonmyun’s eyes, half lidded. His lips, pink and bruised, and when he licked them, the tail of the dragon on Wu Fan’s back twitched. Everything about Joonmyun pleased the object of his curse.
Wu Fan’s vision was rosy around its edges, hot and heavy, and he felt as if he were looking at Joonmyun through sweet smelling smoke and it was intoxicating. “You are aglow,” he whispered to Joonmyun, leaning in for another kiss. The less he saw of the world, the more he felt and saw of Joonmyun.

“Here again?” a familiar voice says, pulling a smile onto Wu Fan’s lips as he looks up from the news article he’s reading on his iPad. Do Kyungsoo is grinning at him, eyes big and bright as usual, and Wu Fan ignores the way that look on his face makes his heart skip a beat.
“Well, you do make the best coffee,” Wu Fan replies and Kyungsoo laughs.
“Only coffee?”
“I suppose some of the other things on your menu are pretty good, too,” Wu Fan says airily, like he doesn’t come here almost everyday for lunch, ordering his favorite cup of coffee and one of Kyungsoo’s delicious sandwiches or soups. It’s a small little cafe just two blocks from where Wu Fan works at an advertising company, and he usually begs out of joining his coworkers for lunch to come here instead. And he resolutely denies that the reason he comes so often has anything to do with Kyungsoo and everything to do with the food.
